With all this amazing level of work, you might want to ask Gav to stop f*ckin about and match those bonnet corners up - ones a little more pointy than the other... Shocked

The question is......

Did you make the pointy corner roundy, or the roundy corner pointy?

That's cool. But don't worry, it's already planned that all the tinware will be as smooth as... Wink

These allow you to fit your large motor, with no gap problems that you would get with either OEM or aftermarket tin

Tks lids but I don't need to worry about that as Monsieur Maher only uses OEM tinware and always cuts/shuts and tigs up to ensure they're as tight as in order to minimise cooling loss.

Once he's done that and the engine has been dynoed the boys in the West Country will handle the cosmetics.

This car is an absolute dream. You're almost doing an injustice by putting a body on top of the floorpan. Surely you cant be thinking of covering that paint with carpet! 90% of people who see it at a show wont know the incredible amount of detail that has gone into it.

I've been following the build since page 81 (unfortunately I have been waiting this long to get my account approved) and its part of my daily internet routine to check if there has been any update. I can only hope that my 56 turns out half this good.

Here Here Amazeer!!!!! Totally agree with your sentiments, this car is absolutely astounding and a total credit to all those involved.

I have been lurking on here from the first page, but like you, have only just had my account approved. I have been dying to add my congratulations to the owner.

Can't wait to see the body in paint!!!

No rush Manz. It's not wanted for a few months but John and I have agreed on the workscope as there'll be a few changes.

Will share the dyno results. Wink

Tks for the really kind comments Chris/Paul. Your posts alone kind of validates all my ramblings! Can't believe also that you're watching the progress from the other side of the world! Shocked
